Nebraska BAsketball Academy winter rec league!

Our Rec League is a developmental league that focuses on the fundamentals and learning to play the game for Boys and Girls.  If your child wants to join a league that will give them the opportunity to learn basketball in a fun atmosphere this will be for them.

Season: January to February 2026

What it includes:

1- Hour practice per week, one combine practice to determine teams (late December) regular practice starts week of January 5th.

1- Game per week- Sat (younger ages) or Sun (older ages) starting Jan 10th.

6 regular season games and 2 tournament games (Total 8 games)

All practices and games will be at Nebraska Basketball Academy 5121 N 132nd St, Omaha NE 68164

Team makeup: 6 teams per grade grouping, 7-8 players per team, limited to 48 players per grade grouping. Boys and Girls will play together, unless there are enough girls to fill a league, then they will have own league.

If there are no spots left for your grade, there will be a waitlist, please email customerservice@nebraskabasketballacademy.com to be added.

If you want to join a team with a friend, please fill out friend/teammate field and we will try to accommodate.

1st - 2nd

3rd – 4th

5th – 6th

7th – 8th

Cost: Includes practice, games and T-Shirt

Early bird until Oct 15th $99/player

From: Oct 15th until Dec 12th:

Member price: $120/player

Non-member price: $135/player

To keep the price reasonable, we are looking for volunteer coaches for the teams. Each coach will go through an orientation and will be taught our training process. Please email customerservice@nebraskabasketballacademy.com if you would like to coach or look for coaches sign up in the league options.
